I set up my 357 dies the other night and when I seat the bullet it crimps at the same time This is a 4 dies set and has a seperate crimp die Should it be crimping? It's a heavy crimp too :? My 45 acp dies don't do that

I would back the load down a good 5 gr or more and see if the sticky bolt stops I wouldn't change brass if that is a hot load , you could end up with a real problem Take a case fired in your gun and see if a new bullet will drop in case to see if the neck is thickness is ok for your gun and check brass length also
